Back from the doctors

Hey...I just got back form the Doc and she told me that with all the other medical issues I have it's common to have a fatty liver, which would cause my enzymes to be high. So she ordered some test to make sure but told me not to worry to much about it. And she also said even if I do have a fatty liver or even what my sister has,  ( NASH )I would more than liekly still be able to get the surgery because losing weight will help the condition! Thanks for the thoughts and prayers

I have it too! When they took my gall bladder out the Dr said that I had it too and the only way to help it would be to lose the weight. 

Whew..I know you were happy to hear the news!  I tried to call this evening but you were already gone..just wanted you to know I haven't forgot :)

Hi.  Glad to see things are sounding positive.  I noticed that you are going to PNH as well.  What number are you?  I am 615.  I see that you should be having your surgery Dec or Jan.  Have you already met with the surgeon?  I am so excited and nervous all at the same time.  Good luck to you.  I send a prayer up for you.

Number 626!!!! The Dec or Jan is what they approximated at the oreintation. I havent had my pre op stuff done yet...have you?

I had fatty liver before surgery. Was just told to eat as low carb as possible to shrink it before surgery. Just what was suggested to me. I did best i could , except for the Last Supper before my bowel prep. Best wishes for a great report from your test.  Shannon
