Prayers Please!
I have a discogram scheduled for tomorrow and I am scared to death. Have had many procedures to get to the bottom of this. This will decide the next line of treatment, whether or not it will be surgery . I have had complications from many procedures on my back and am hoping for none from this one. Know its going to be painful in advance. Hard for me to handle but I want this better to enjoy my life. I am so young and did not lose all this weight to go thru what I have. I have made some mistakes in trying to deal with this. Have been judged harshly for no reason at all. Alot to deal with when my life is harder than its ever been. I pray for those daily. I ask for prayers to get thru this and for those who know nothing about me except for 2nd hand twisted infomation. I know there will be other people in life who are callous and uncaring. Prayer is the only answer i have to keep me from wanting to strangle them. Thanks for listening. This is really hard for me right now.

Shannon I don't know what a discogram is but I am praying it will not be too painful for you. I am sorry you feel judged harshly for whatever mistakes you feel you have made. Of course I have no idea what you are talking about - I seem to stay oblivious to these kind of things - but I am hoping things will pick up for you soon.
Good luck for tomorrow and I hope they can do something for you

Shannon - you already know this but you STAY in my prayers. I know that you are terrified about the discogram. I will ask that God bless the hands of the docs doing the testing tomorrow and that your pain is minimal and that you are resting comfortably. The main objective is to find the path in which you are to take and finding a procedure that will help give you a chance at living life more fully and actively. Everyone makes mistakes but it is the lessons we learn from those mistakes that are important. We have choices and so some advice to you is CHOOSE to ignore the negativity, realize that others judge you, gossip etc because of their own insecurities and issues within themselves that they choose not to address. You and I both know the truth has a way of coming out and things said about someone unjustly....well....God takes care of all that in His time. You cannot give up, you keep your chin up and you keep trusting that God will see you through this. I am here to support you as well as others. You are a wonderful woman with lots of hopes and dreams and you have been through quite a bit and regardless of the mistakes you've made it is your CHOICES in your life NOW that matter. We cannot change the past, we cannot hold grudges, we cannot forget that in order to truly move on in ours lives and be successful is to forgive ourselves, forgive others, set boundaries and live our lives positively. You are in my prayers and you've been added to the prayer list(s). Again, leave the "takers" alone, ignore them and live in God's ways and means. Give things to Him. - Always, Kat

My prayers and thoughts are with you...I guess you've heard the quote "That which does not kill me makes me stronger"? I know that you're strong and can handle this, but it NEVER hurts to reach out for help. Everybody gets tired and feels weak or scared sometimes...we're all with you...hang in there!
