Surgery postponed...

My surgeon's going to a seminar to learn how to locate the abdominal port for LapBands with ultrasound in his office rather than with flouro in radiology, which is a GOOD thing, but the seminar is the week my surgery was scheduled for.  Now my date is November 26.  It would have been a week sooner, but my boss freaked since that would have been Thanksgiving week, and lots of people have already asked off that week.  Oh, well, I guess I'm used to setbacks by now...what's one more? (sigh) JP

Well at least now you get to enjoy your Thanksgiving meal with out having to do liquids or purees.  The delay is discouraging but everything happens for a reason.  You day will be here soon.  Keep your chin up.
