To those who have had plastic surgery...

Hi.  I have been researching ps for a little while.  I am interested in a TT and a breast lift.  I wanted to know the people in va beach, if any, who did you go to?  Do all surgeons do their procedures in their office?  That really worries me!  Im so scared!  Like i wasnt this nervous about RNY but ive watch WAY TOO MANY of those plastic surgery nightmares!!!!!  I want to find a great dr.  and I was just interested in who yall went to!  Thank you.

i would love to warn you of one to not go to, poor bedside manners, poor office staff and confidentiality!! email me privately! you deserve the best for your money and NOTHING less!! do plenty of research before hand, and listen to what others tell you, just one bad story is one too many for me. good luck in your journey!!! by the way you look great and you have the most beautiful eyes!

I am scheduled for ps surgey on Halloween day.  But, I met with three surgeons (2 in this area and 1 in Fairfax).  Personally, I was not thrilled with the docs here and will be going to Dr. Kreiger in Fairfax. His price was right, he is super nice and VERY informed to our needs.  So, for me, it is worth driving 3 hours there to have what i consider to be the best.  I have seen his work and it is AWESOME! But....do your research.  Check out the book plastic surgery for dummies.  It has alot of good information and questions you should be asking.  Remember that the doc is going to show you his best work.  Ask around for opinions.   Now, while revision work is somewhat expected, find out how much revision work they tend to do. Also, the doc might be good and have a crappy staff.  You need to decide if that is acceptable to you.  For me, it is not and was another big turn-off. Good luck on your new adventure!

I am not down your way but recently had a lower body lift with Dr Kreiger in Fairfax which is about an hour and twenty minutes drive from me - but oh so worth it! I can't recommend him highly enough and have seen much of his other work first hand on bariatric patients - he really does understand our wls community.......... Jackie

My best friend had her TT and implants through Dr. Joanna Lopes who only does women plastic surgery, she has a site online as well. I plan to go to her for a consultation when I'm ready. She did a good job physically and my experience with the staff taking her to and from was pleasant. Like everyone said, I wouldn't go to just one person, check out many different places. Remember, sometimes price isn't the way to go, quality is worth way more than a buck when it comes to your GOODS! Hahahah Good luck and let us know what you find out!
