I'm not really MIA...

Many of you have been PM'ing me, asking what's up, where ya been, how come we don't see ya anymore.  All I can say is busy, busy, BUSY!!!  And I'm so sorry if ya'll feel neglected. First off, I will be gone every weekend of this month with reenacting!  Whew!  For our last month, it's sure going out like a lion rather than a lamb. The second thing...I got a job!!!  Unexpected though it may have been, I'm still really excited about it.  I only started out making cakes for this darling little cafe that opened up in our town.  The next thing I knew, the owner had talked me into coming in a few hours during the week to help cook & bake & other such stuff.  No big commute..only 3 miles from my house.  Not a lot of money, but it will be a nice little nest egg for the coming holidays.  And it gets me outta the house, around people, & having fun.  How much better can it get??? My weight is really starting to come off!  I stood on the scale, with ALL my clothes on (no shoes) & it still read 218!!!  Usually I weigh with my light weight jammies on, so I can't wait until Monday when I weigh in for real.  Hopefully I'll be joining the one-derland group soon!!! So, even though I'm not here as much as I would like, I do try to take a few minutes every day to check the boards, I respond to a few, but I"m thinking of ya'll all the time & speak of you often.  I do miss ya'll.  Once our reenacting season slows down, I'll be back full time with ya'll.  Thanks for all the PMs inquiring...you're all so sweet. I love you all bunches!!!!!!!

Hey Ann.....Great news with the weight coming off....when you stop thinking about it, off it comes.  That is great about getting a job!  I know how it is about being around people and having some fun...would love to have that opportunity without having to commit to full time stress.  And being so close to your home.  Wow...I would love to come to one of your reenactments so you will have to let me know the schedule.  Who knows....I may be a neighbor soon.  LOL.    Well, Sweetie...can't wait to see ya again.   Hugs, Betsy

Good to see you again Ann I have missed your posts. But glad your busy and enjoying your time. Getting out with others is always nice and the extra pounds rolling off is always a plus. Keep us posted on how you are, its always nice to see your smiling face on here. At least we know its real. Hugsssss.......

Hey Busy Bee! I know all bout reenacting for sure! Been to tons & tons & tons and they are a lot of work but nifty too. That is WONDERFUL you are baking, caking and hanging in the cafe! Congrats on the weight loss and it just keeps getting better girl! YOU are a sweet gal and yeah we miss you but Life is grand! Love....

Hello beautiful.  Glad to see an update.  It was so great to see you on Saturday.  Wish that the accident with Lennie hadn't happened and we could have spent some more time together.  I hope she is doing okay.  Love ya.
