Counting Down

Well it's 4 am and I can't sleep. I am so excited knowing my surgery is in about 24 hours. I have learned so much from you  guys and gals here on the VA board and I want to thank you for that. I feel like I am prepared for the good bad and the ugly Keep the advice and experiences coming because you never know when you might touch someone when they most need it. You all take care and I will see you on the losing side!! 

Good am to you....we are right here for you and beside you. Its definitely an exciting time and I still remember all those feelings right before surgery. Its something you'll never forget. That is how I feel too...keep on keeping on with sharing our stories and lives together because we never know who's life we touch and God be with you and your docs for surgery and keep us posted for sure. Have a WONDERFUL day!

Good Morning to you!!!  I am so glad you are so excited.  Hopefully it won't mess up your sleep too much.  Can't wait to welcome you over to the losing side. Will be thinking about you and praying for you.

Know you are excited and I am excited for you. Hope the bowel prep is not going to bad for you. By the 2nd day i needed Gatorade because I was weak. You have prepared yourself and that will help. You are in good hands. Dr S and his crew are a good group. You will be walkin that hallway soon. Will be praying for you! Shannon

Girl you know you are soooo ready for this!!  You will do just fine.  I am so proud of you for hanging in there through all of the stuff you had to go through - I will see you on the losing side and talk to you at some point tomorrow

Well another one of my FFP Butterflys getting ready to blossom Im so proud of you Karen you have been so strong through all the hills you have had to climb these last few months but your a trooper and you have won the battle now you all ready for the final hill and then your all down hill from now on and on that loosers bench with all of us standing here applauding and awaiting your arrival. I am here and will await your call tom. from your hubby or yourself. Breath and count to 10 but if you are like me everyone around you were the nervous ones and I was like goodmorning Dr Schirmer how are you Im ready lets go I had waited so long for this day I wasnt nervous I was ready and I know you are to, to make the change for your new tool for the journey of a life time. best of luck hugssss nad we are here waiting for you.. Karen, Good luck and I am sure you will do just fine! You are armed with information so you know what to expect and what to do about it - this will help you tremendously. We are moving along to save you room on the losers bench - it feels great when you get there!. It is only natural to be excited and apprehensive at the same time - we all were - but it was by far the best thing we have ever done for ourselves!! Good luck and as soon as you feel up to it let us know how you are doing! Jackie
