Looks like a pretty fall day here at the beach.  Pretty enough to do something fun outside.  BUT....I'm pretty much stuck indoors. But, not you.  So....what are YOU doing to move today?  I plan to move around a little, do some minor walking (very low speed) on the treadmill this morning and that's about it.  Nothing to write home about, but enough to keep my blood moving. Enjoy your day.......

Naw - not as brave as it sounds.  I have NO intentions of putting the speed beyond 2.0 and there will definately be NO incline.  It will be no different than me walking through the house.  Just more recordable. I am SO bored already and since I feel really good (no pain and not tired) I figured, why not do a few 5 minute stints throughout the day.......

It will help you recover faster if you get up and about - my neighbours were suprised I was walking around lol!  It is funny the difference in health care - my neice - a 22 year soldier in the UK  - had a breast reduction (she badly needed one) on 10th of September - same day as my surgery - she was in hospital for a week - standard in the UK - and still is not back to work yet - she may go back in a couple of weeks or so - yet when I get my breast reduction AND my arms done - I will not even be in hospital overnight!!! REALLY!?!?!?!  That just seems too long to me.  i had read studies that said that we actually recoup better in our own environments than in a hospital environment.  And I believe it, because I did not sleep at all the last night that I was there - it just didn't feel right after all of the pain meds and stuff had come out of my system.  Ya know??? But, that's ehy I'm getting up ont the treadmill today.  I feel really good and want to keep it that way.  And I know from my RNY surgery, the more I moved (with limits of course) the better I felt.

I know what you mean Jill about missing exercise.  When I was down after my Tummy tuck, I missed it soooo bad.  Just take care of yourself, don't overdo it, you don't want a hernia or anything.  Then when your surgeon releases ya for exercise...take it slowly.  Then boom. you will be back to where you were in no time.   hugs
