Tell me About Your Activity WOW Moment!!!

Good Morning Everyone............. Well, after Judy B's great accomplishment yesterday, I thought that today instead of asking what you will be doing to move today (because we all know that you ARE moving...right), tell me about your recent activity WOW moment. Have you recently increased your activity from 20 minutes to 30 minutes?  Did you increase your weights?  Did you just simply move?  It does not matter what it was...I want to know!!!! So....since I'm down, it's obvious that I'm not really moving.  BUT....my WOW moment is the fact that I sit here CRAVING the physical activity.  There was a time when I was more than content to sit here and do nothing.  But now, it pains me to sit here and do nothing. Ok...now what's YOURS!

I guess  my WOW moment is that I don't sweat as much - which means I have to change up my routine, particularly cardio since I do keep increasing weights.  The problem is I HATE CARDIO!!!!!  I get really bored after 10 minutes and can't zone out.  I usually use the little bit of equipment in the free weights room instead of the cardio room because at least the eye candy is better! I get off work early today and will be in the gym after doing errands.  UGH to both!  Sorry, just have never been excited by routines (making beds, doing dishes over and over and over again...what's the point?).

Wayne and I hiked 9 miles lasts weekend, from Petite's Gap, along the AT to Snowden.  this is not my record, which is 12 miles. But, it is the most I have acomplished recently. THE EMT class is killing my schedule and I am onlly getting out on weekends.  This is killing me and I fight everyday to keep off the pounds.  I was at such a great point with my activity level and eating, and NOW I find it so hard to cut down on the carbs, to match my reduced activity level.  I love the EMT class, but will be so thankful when it is over and I can go back to hiking after work. Kewlness... I have to say that, the other night, my husband and I went out for a walk. Well, I get into this...zone...where I tune everything and everyone out and just focus on getting the best walk in that I can get. Next thing ya know, I'm pulling away from him. Pumping my arms.  Faster and faster... I wasn't even a little bit winded. He was huffing and puffing and when we got home, he was so pooped that he had to stay outside and do some stretching. He said "Hon, that was a great workout.  Im proud of you.  You've come a long way and you're a beast on the track...!" Yay for me!  Yay for the tool! Less than 7 months ago, I could barely walk 1/4 mile and was 85lbs heavier...still got about 20lbs to go.  If I do, great. If I don't, I'm ok with me. :-)
