Two Years Ago Today

Two years ago today I was waiting patiently ( or not so ) in the surgical waiting room at UVA for my gastric bypass. I was well armed with knowledge and and support. Knew I would be sucessful. Know I still I am today. Hit Onederland on the scales today again!!! Great what going back to the rules can do. Lets  me know this thing is still working. Thanks for all the support from people. Great friendships have been formed. Have met some of the greatest people in my life. Lots of changes in my life still put challenges before me but I poke along. I know its all going to work out for the best inspite of them. Thanks again to all. Hey Shannon!! Happy 2 year surgiversary!!! Congrats on reaching the 1's again on the scales!! I'm VERY proud of you and the "rules" still apply even heading for 5 year post op. Hope you keep focusing on the positives and believing in yourself. I've gotten to watch you come a long way and I am proud we are friends and thanks for being here for me too. Happy Surgiversary , and to your renewed resolve! I am struggling with the back to school, no exercise problem still and have to kich myself in the butt every so many weeks to get 6-7 pounds back down.  That still leaves me several pounds heavier than I want to be, but thank goodness I am MOSTLY in control.
