FFP Meet & Greet Final Head Count

FFP is Meeting next week on Sat Nov 17th for there monthly Meet & Greet @ The Brick Oven @ 12:00 noon here in Charlottesville 1966 Rio Hill Ctr. If your name is on the list great please let me know by Sunday if your bringing anyone other than yourself and if you have a ? by your name I need to know by Sunday if you will be attending and if your name is not listed and you wish to attend let me know so I can add you. What is FFP?  I am having RNY with Dr. Schirmer on November 16, and I wondered if this was a support group.  I am looking for one! Tracey

Hi Tracey  yes the FFP's is a support group I started soon after I had my Gastric Bypass w/ Dr Schirmer in 2005 FFP stands for Formerly Fat People and we have Post-ops an Pre-ops and your welcome to come to any of our meets I try to hold them once a month and this month is the 17th and it looks like you will be in the hospital then but we would love you to come when ever you can, Keep in touch w/ me and Ill add you to my email addresses when I here from you and you will get updates here as well. My email is [email protected] Best of luck on your surgery you cant adk for a better surgeon Dr Schirmer is the best there is here local. He saved my life that's for sure. Keep me posted and I hope to here from you soon.

Welcome to the FFP's Tracey and The Va Board as well and we will be seeing you soon. If there is anything at all I can do just  ask I live here in Charlottesville and when your up for appointments and Im able to Id love to meet you.
