I have a date

I finally have a surgery date. DEC 4th.  I began the process last February. Now I have my date.  The DR wants me to lose 10 pounds before surgery and put me on a very strict liquid diet. It will be hard to do but I know it will be beneficial for my surgery.  I appreciate all the help I've received here on OH and will be relying on this site to help me after the surgery.

Congrats on your surgry date. It will be here before you know it. I know that with Thanksgiving being next week it will be hard to do a liquid diet but you can do it my taking and mixing in a blender what you like from the dinner and use some liquid added to it and still enjoy what everyone else is eating execpt yours will be in liquid form. I hope that this helps you. My husband has trouble eating alot of things and this is what he does and does ok with it.

Congrats!  I know you must be so excited.  Santa is coming early this year!  10 pounds is not so bad.  Keep me posted and I live very close to PNH so let me know if I can be of any assistance to you or your family.  I see that the numbers moved and I am next!  We will both be losers soon!  Good Luck and keep your eye on the prize!

YEAH!!!! Congrats on getting a date. Dec is my rebirthday too. I am Dec 19th. Let us know how everything goes. If you need anything before Dec4th let us know. Even if it is to vent or write down your fears.
