WELCOME TO THURSDAY MORN ALL!
I'm happy too that I am able to help others & make such an amazing difference in others lives. It feels great & in a sense its helping me as well.
I am reminded this am the importance of patience when we become frustrated and want things to happen yet they either don't or just not as quick or as we want them to go. In addition, I find it hard at times when I don't agree with someone to find the right attitude & response especially when they are entitled to their opinion however their opinion might not be mine. Its become less of a challenge because of some great lessons I've learned & techniques I've begun using in my life by setting boundaries & then really thinking something through before voicing my opinion or response. This brings to mind something important I read earlier this week. I will place it here as in my opinion its really eye opening.
Esteem in One Another “And walk in love (esteeming and delighting in one another) as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us…” (Ephesians 5:2 AMP).
We don’t often hear the world esteem used very much in our culture, but the Bible tells us to esteem and delight in one another. One definition of esteem is to hold in high regard. That means we are to honor and value one another. And you may not always agree with everyone around you. They may not always act honorably, but we are to honor and esteem people because they are valuable in the eyes of God. If you had a very costly and valuable piece of jewelry, you wouldn’t just wear it to the gym or leave it on the kitchen sink. No, you would treat it carefully. You would put it in a safe place and protect it. When we see others as valuable, the way God sees them; we should treat them carefully as well. We should watch how we talk to other people. We should look for the good in others and honor them for who God made them to be. The Bible tells us that the way we treat others is like sowing seeds, and it will come back to you. Choose to esteem and delight in one another. Sow good seeds, and you will see a harvest of blessing in your own life in return! A Prayer
Heavenly Father, today I choose love. I choose to honor the people around me. Help me to see the value in others the way You see the value in me. Help my actions and words to esteem and delight in others so that I can be an example of Your love and light. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
What's your plans for today? Mine includes chores, laundry, writing a few more Cmas cards, getting some packages together for mailing & wrapping & working on some messages that need responses. I'm about to sip on an AchievOne & make some coffee then get Kayla off to school & get busy with some conversations that I've needed to have. I'm happy and ready to conquer them with gusto, tolerance & understanding. Enjoy your day & smile your biggest smile. Give things to the Lord and remember your way isn't the only way and/or the best way & EVERYONE has something to contribute (whether it be privately, publicly, in a voice message, private message, email etc) even if you don't "see" it, it is happening.
Its TRUE one person CAN make a difference!
Big hugs, lots of prayers & encouragement along with a BIG smile & many happy wishes for YOU & yours today! All best on this Thursday morn...

Thankful for the easy, grateful for the hard & hopeful for tomorrow.Yesterday I was going to have lunch with Amber and Corinn but a trip to urgent care for my daughter Kristin took priority. She twisted her ankle in gym but thankfully it is better today. In the afternoon, my soon to be 17 yr old son, by baby, and I watched the movie Evan Almighty. Cute, but not as funny as Bruce Almighty. It did have a good message though. Random Acts of Kindness to our fellow man. Just the smallest gesture of kindness to someone can have a big impact on their day, on their life. One person CAN make a difference. So I leave you with this thought : What will you do today to make a difference?
I'm glad Kristin is better & hope you get to reschedule lunch w/ Amber & Corinn. I agree too although I gotta say I LOVED it at the end with the "Thou Shalt Do The Dance"
Oh yes! I agree there as well - RAOK are absolutely GREAT & again ONE person can make a big difference. Enjoy your day!
