There is a crevice in the back of your head....
So, I am sitting there with the 1st Mrs. Maury, waiting on a meeting at school about the local chapter of teen angst (our 13 year-old son), and she is looking at my head. I spent a decade with this woman and she saw me get fat. While we are basically civil, I wouldn't describe us a friends. I know you are thinking how did a woman let a gem like me get away...but sadly she did. (I am aware, btw, that I can be what they call "difficult" at times to live with).
She looks at me and said, "There is a crevice in the back of your head. " Taken aback, I said, "Thanks...I guess. "
She then says it's a good thing. Seems it looked like I had a pack of hot dogs on the back of my head. Since I have lost weight you can now see the point where my cranium ends and my neck begins.
So I guess it was a pretty cool day.

So I guess it was a pretty cool day. I seriously dig your humor and am giggling some right now. I'm not laughing AT you but with you. Its weird what some others will notice and we are like "um yeah that's spiffy thanks." Take every little thing in stride and enjoy it. These "wow" moments although Speccccialk as we refer to them
are still great! Enjoy!

All you have to do is smile and she smiles back.
Just last week my son's dad was here from NJ and I noticed that the hot dog look was happening to him. I think he has gained 1/2 of what I've lost.
Hang in there with the teen--girls are worse!
Thanks for sharing!
