Large incision infected

Still on antibiotics from the pneumonia, i had no fever, or soreness. But, yesterday my large incision (from lap) started leaking fluid YUCKK!!!! Went into today, they had to re-open it and push on my stomach so all the infected stuff woudl come out. Feeling good though, bought some Adult liquid tylenol. No shower til friday. bummer. Going back to work on tuesday (if pulmonary dr says a-ok). sorry to ramble, thanks for the support - Lys

I bet being on the antibiotics from the pneumonia kept it in check so it didn't get really, really angry and ugly!!! I hope everything resolves for you very soon that going back to work won't be too much of a strain on you. Take care, neighbor!

wow!! sorry to hear that. My c-section incision got infected after my daughter was born so I can only imagine what youre dealing with!! Hang in there and follow doctors orders. (yeah how tired do you get of hearing that)
