Need prayers please

I started Chantix today and I am terrified of the side effects I've read about but I need to quit smoking to have my RNY. Please pray that this works for me and that I will be smoke free in 8 days or sooner. Quitting smoking for me is an insane hurdle. It's my lifeline, my buddy, my stress reliever and more. Please pray for me! Thanks! Jamie

I am so there with you Jamie. I am going for my pre op physical and I am asking my doctor for chantix. I MUST quit before my surgery. Maybe we can be quiting buddies?

Chantrix has helped a couple of my friends and if you can just keep an eye on it you should be find..... good luck on stopping smoking! I never started and I am glad that I didn't or it would be just one more thing I would have to give up!! Good luck giving it up.... Jackie
