Good pm

Yesterday I spent most of the day in my recliner. I wasnt able to eat much and only got in 48g protein. I was weak most of the day. Last night about 8pm I got alittle energy and took a walk around my neighborhood. Then went to Walmart to get some more protein(having trouble stomaching them).

Today I have been in bed all day still weak. My period is the worst I have ever had(TMI). I am drinking a protein shake right now and hopefully I will be abl to eat something later. I plan on going for a walk this evening and get some housework done.

This weekend I have a Pastor's Appreciation Dinner to go to Saturday evening and then gonna take the kids shopping. Sunday my oldest has a full day of activities so my mom is gonna take her everywhere she has to go and I'm taking my youngest and niece to Kings Dominion for the day. Not gonna stay late but the walking and fresh air will be good for me.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Hope you are feeling better today. The weakness will come and go for some time. I really hope that you enjoy dinner, shopping and activities you want to participate in this weekend. Prayers for a great weekend. All best!

Hello to all of you.
Tonight I am celebrating my first full week home from the hospital. This week was exhausting with visits from the nurse, working on exercises, waking up in the middle of the night on several nights. The exercises are becoming more aggressive, and thus the pain more intense. Pain meds and ice are my best friends.
This morning I was picked up by a friend and we drove to another friend's house for breakfast and convo. It was great to getr out of the house and be with others. Living alone, has been a struggle and sometimes boring.  I was greatful for the fellowship. On the way home we stopped at a local produce market for fruits and snacks. The physical therapist came in the afternoon. A nap and exercises were also part of the day.
With weather looking looking wet, I may stay in to work on exercises and bake some flax and apple muffins. Taking on the UVA foot ball game at 3:30pm.
    Happy  Weekend!!!   Cindy

I surely hope you get some rest this weekend. Being with and around others really can bring us out of the what I call the loomie gloomies. Enjoy the game and hope the muffins turn out great. In fact, I think you might inspire some baking for the buggas and I this weekend. :)

Hi Kat,
Thank you for the positives. This rainy weekend can bring on the "loomie gloomies', but ball game, baking, and reading can bring me around. The exercies I have to do are becoming more aggressive, bringing on more pain. On Monday the staples come out...23 altogether.
Have a great weekend. Cindy
