Went to church on Sunday, and did nothing after that. Today I plan on steaming my carpets some laundry had the family do hard woods the weekend and try to calm down for next week. This weather is so nice, however inside of the house is to hot, if I was not to embrassed to turn on the A/C then maybe I would, my husband was like just open more windows, after we had a large winter heating bills, so I finally got on the pay plan which was great, told all my neighbors who were already on it except one person.

I was a bad girl and skipped church in favor of family time with my hubby and daughter. We did pray and rejoice...just not in actual church. OK...I'll admit it...I DID turn the AC on. It was very hot. Just in our bedroom which is updtairs but we needed it. The rest of the house was OK with the windows open and fans running. I have carpet everywhere but the kitchen and the bathroom...we will be steam cleaning them either one day this week (I'll have hubby do it while I am at work) or this weekend since it is supposed to be raining. I would prefer to do it on a sunny day...but as long as it gets done! Have a fabulous day!

You are so funny, my bed room was really hot also. My hubby was determined not to turn on the A/C. Yes carpet is a pain to keep clean especially if you opt for a light color which we have, so its a constant job.

My hubby never knows how much any of the bills are...he just puts money in the bank and I spend as I see fit. And if I am hot then I will turn on the AC. It is too early for the central air but being upstairs and having skylights in our room we use a window unit, too. We have medium color carpet but are getting light carpet as soon as I get the money together for the padding. I have the carpet already...it was brand new and FREE! My husband can install it. We also have four dogs and with a baby on the way...I am sure it will get dirty fast! Glad we bought a steam cleaner!

Good morning, beautiful! Sounds like you had a pretty decent weekend, too. I saw pics of Buddy...he is a beaut! I love birds. I have white doves at my house right now. I think this weekend will be my shopping weekend. There are still a few baby things that I need to pick up and some are on sale and I have some coupons for some others. I have some gift cards to use so it will be a huge help. I also have to finish some laundry and get baby clothes put where I want them! Have a great time at the gym...I can't wait to get my butt back regularly.

Many, many prayers coming your way for the entire family...especially the girlies. And of course for the house. Let me know if you need anything...even if just to talk. I am always around!

<--- This has been me since Fri pm! My allergies are having a moment. I am finally starting to feel better. Fri pm was spiffy. Am glad to have great connections in my life for sure. Sat was an all day out & about day with shopping (which I love - NOT) to include spring shoes for the buggas and as much cleaning and sneezing and sneezing and can you guess??!!?? Sun I decided it would be good to take Benadryl & it made me sleeeeeepy. I had little or no voice Sat & Sun & have since opted for Claritin (liquid) which is working well for me. Thankfully. We walked yesterday as it was a really great day for it and will do the same when K is home from school. On the books for today is lotsa cleaning, getting me better & giving thanks for the blessings in my life.

Wanna come clean at my house? LOL! I have a long list for Steve for the rest of the week. I am letting him take it easy today since he is driving me to do billing, both AM and PM rounds. AFter today he is in for a huge surprise...there is tons to do and I can not do it myself! Thankfully he is willing to do almost anything I ask of him. Glad you are feeling somewhat better...I know how the allergies are. I will be glad when I can take something again. Liquid Claritin...how does it taste? That might be good for "emergencies"...but I usually take daily pills. I will have to look into this. Enjoy your walk today...I plan on having one this evening myself. I just can't stand the thought of the treadmill today...I need my nature time!

I LOVE to clean! I get in Pine Sol/Clorox Clean Up Wipe moods. Smells good and cleans big time. I can get past the taste of anything honestly. But, I've learned by trial and error that pills (unless chewable) do not work as well as the liquid for me personally. I've checked with my surgeon's handbook as well and listed under Upper Respirtory is Allegra, Benadryl & similar. At this point, its my option (OTC use). I would consider looking into it as both the buggas use it as well. We are both Costco gals so they have the double pack there in Grape. :) We are about to go walking; the buggas, mom & I.

Grape sounds yummy and I am headed there tomorrow evening anyway. I will check it out and ask the OB tomorrow when I see her about taking it. I prefer anything lemon or orange scent. It seems to open up the sinuses! Let me know if you need/want Steve on Wednesday to watch Nora while you go to the doctors with your mom. I just have to let him know! Hope you have a great walk!

They make it in Fruit & Grape flavors. We have both and neither are that spiffy but it helps so I can get past the taste. Thanks about Wed. I'll let you know. Our walk was great! A 1/2 hour and the buggas made it the whole way. Mom stopped off to talk to some neighbors. I'll just leave it at that.
