Thank you so much Susan.  It has been very hard on me.  The doctors found a spot on her brain around Christmas and she died January 21.  Now it is just my brother and myself and he lives out of town.  Ofcourse, I have a husband and family but the loss is still great. sue

Sorry about your sister, that's got to be really hard. Did you get your snow?

Thank you.  I had two sisters.  My other sister is also dead.  Brothers are great but it was nice to have a sister around. Yes, we are getting the snow.  It started about 15 minutes ago.  My grandkids were on an hour delay this morning and the schools are dismissing now. My poor husband was in line at the bank for 1 1/2 hours.  Then he had to  get some food and the store was packed.   Even with a tiny tummy I don't want to be without food....LOL    A saltine cracker would work for my  meal but my head still says put more food on that plate.  sue

Each brand is different, but I have noticed that usually there is a couple of more inches in the tummy area and waist in a 18w than an 18 regular.

All manufacturers are slightly different... but here are some measurements from Land's End: Misses Size 18: Bust  42-1/2" Waist 35" Hip 45" Women's Size 18 Bust  44-1/2" Waist 36-1/2" Hip 47"

Lap-Band June 14, 2001. Dr. Rumbaut, Monterrey, Mexico.
Lap-Band removed after 7 years and converted to Sleeve Gastrectomy on July 7, 2008 by Dr. Roslin.  I've had three happy healthy Lap-Band babies.... and one VSG baby.  5 years out from revision to VSG.  Gained 55 pounds in past 5 months, now considering DS. :(

I did a lot of taking in as I got smaller.  I would just sew a seam down the sides of my pants or make darts to take in the waist.  I even took in T-shirts along the side to make them fit better.  That way I wasn't buying constantly.  Hopefully this is the last set of clothes I will have to buy.   Susan

My DH has always thought I should just take everything in (you know pull out the sewing machine)...I refused...I work hard everyday - going to work, running a house, raising two boys and giving DH TLC - so I bought from 24 to my new size 8's - I try not to spend over $10 an item, but it makes me sad to think that these smaller sizes I might have to dispose of - I have some really nice things now (wait I've always had nice things, I just like them now).
