Thanks Idgett!  Hey, I saw a lady from this site(can't remember her name) but she has the sleeve and her daughter was across from me getting sleeved by Garth Davis.  Also, there was a lady on Channel 2 last night and they were doing a segment on the sleeve and talking about how she was getting hers today and low and behold, she was there also and getting sleeved by my doc after he finished up on me.

Wow! The Sleeve is really catching on. Sorry I missed the segment on channel 2. I think once they have the data to back it up it is going to become the surgery of choice. I certainly was my choice over RNY.
Memorial City is becoming quite the popular hospital. I tell ya, they took good care of me each time I was in there.
Get some rest now...don't sit up all night on the computer. Do you have someone to be with you tomorrow? My work is just at I-10 and Park Ten...so if you need anything just holler. I will PM you my work number.

Nothing too spicy or greasy for a couple of months!!  About a month after surgery hubby brought home Tommy burgers.  I ate it and wound up in the hospital because I thought I was having a heart attack.  Bad Tommy burger.  Bad Tommy burger.

ooooooo that doesn't sound to good. That is what my gallbladder attacks felt like. I went in the hospital to have an angiogram and came out needing my gallbladder out with the heart of a teenager.
I had a couple of flare ups just a few days out, but after that I was good to go.

It's the anesthesia.  This happened to me with all of my c sections.  I had to be VERY relaxed...and....very...quiet....I could feel it coming down the urethra.....then "snap"  my muscles close shut!  Sometimes I would manage to get  a drop or two out before my muscles "snapped" shut! You'll be fine by tomorrow!  I'm glad you're okay though!

Thanks for the info Celeste!  You described what I'm going thru to a tee!    Gosh, I hope it's better tomorrow!  It's driving me crazy!  The constant "urge" and yet "NADA,ZILCH"!  This is my only hang up about this surgery, the pain is there but manageable.
