OT: what do you take for anxiety? (like flying)
Whatever you end up taking alcohol or drugs - I know how that sounds, but I had to put it in ha! ha! - don't cut back on your flying. The best thing you can do when confronted with a fear is to meet it head on. Fly more often. It's too easy for the fears of flying, spiders, leaving the house to take over.
As far as the Welbutrin, sometimes patients who take medications for anxiety and depression feel great on the medications and they ask themselves "why am I taking this". It's only after they go off that they realize the medications were doing a good job. Patients do have situational depression/anxiety and sometimes only need the medications for a short period. The best thing is to discuss this with your doctor or therapist and together decide if you should try a weaning off.

I too am also afraid of flying and do it a fair bit. I always make sure I sit in an isle seat so I can occasionally ask the flight attendant if that noise I am hearing is normal. She has said to me "yes, that is the landing gear coming down.......LMAO!" I also like to watch the attendants. If they don't seem nervous and are still walking around during turbulents or bad storms than why should I be nervous. I find this helps.........LOL As far as medicating, I tried sleeping pills one time because we had a long flight and it was awful. I would never take them again. How about Graval, they personally don't work for me but, I do hear ppl rave about how it just knocks them out?????
