Does anyone else out there feel like there brain has left on vacation without them?  I cannot even carry on a normal conversation!  I can't find the words!  And I'm forgetting EVERYTHING!  I feel like I'm walking around in fog all day!

I am 1 month post op.  Is this normal?  Am I alone here??      :)

I am suffering from the same thing.  I had a houseguest all weekend and all weekend when I tried to come up with names it took me forever.  I'm writing it off to my last birthday.

I think it's normal. I started flaking out pre-op. I've been leaving things everywhere I go and getting speeding tickets right and left.

It's because my brain is busy dealing with WLS and there aren't any brain cells left over to remember where I put my keys.

what's weird is i actually find myself way more focused, clear-headed and peaceful...  and i think it's due to detoxing off bad carbs, sugar, and junk food in general.  i started feeling this way at about day 5 of my 21-day preop liquid diet, have felt great ever since... i still get upset, but NOTHING like before i detoxed.. i would rant and rave and slam doors for any little thing, and now... i'm so much more patient and calm especially with my 2-yr old.

i have the same problem and it is almost 3 months now post ops , time passes extremly fast but the thing is  i am starting to think that may be this is because i need to check my blood and may be i need some more  vitamins may be i have some deficincies but that is my case it cannot be for everyone
i did though my first blood test after 1 month and it all turned ok and i was suffering too from the less concentration and memory loss which has increased lately

Here here!  I was blaming this on menopause.  Words get stuck between my brain and my lips and I know I want to keep talking but the word I am looking for is no longer in my vocabulary.
