rice paper rolls for everything! is this a new idea or not?
I'm the odd one out here. I can't eat them. Rice, noodles, bread all do not feel good in my tummy. I had some at a Vietnamese place and it didn't sit well at all.
Here in Malaysia they use them to make popei spring rolls. I really used to like those.
Hopefully at some point I'll be able to eat them again because in Ha Long, Vietnam, they make a square rice paper that's unique in the country and they supposedly make these wonderful crab cakes with them. I so want to try those.
I'm happy you found something that works for you. Enjoy.

Good point, Gary! In the beginning, the VSG stomach is really finicky. In the first nine months, if I ate corn chips, bread, rice, noodles, etc. I would throw up immediately.
This effect helps you lose weight rapidly during the first year!
Now, I can eat a few bites of those carbs without punishment.
I just realized that everyone *****plied to this post has had surgery this year-- or is going to have surgery before the end of the year... so-- a note to everybody:
your body might not accept the rice paper until the VSG tummy "matures".
Congratulations on your weight loss Gary!
