Does anyone have times when you can eat ALOT?

Just curious. I used to have the band, and for some strange reason one night every few weeks, I could simply eat as much as I wanted to....at least much more that normal. Does anyone ever have this happen with the sleeve? I'm only 3 weeks out, but I can already tell that I can eat during the evening, but can barely manage to get anything in during the morning and early afternoon...feels like it just sits in my chest....(I do have an odd shaped sleeve due to complications with the lap-band.....)

Thanks much!

I'm relatively newly out (3 months) but I have noticed the last 2 months that the days of my period I feel like I have much less restriction than the rest of the month. The day my period stops I can barely eat. It's so weird.

Hi! I am 8months out and can deff eat more than the first few months! Now when it comes to T.O.M, I have all the cravings and seam to eat more! I have to watch myself during this time because it seams I can graze all day!

Could it be that you just eat different things in the evening?

Sometimes, I'm full after some soup, yet sometimes, I can EAT. I just got back from Vegas and, of course, ate at multiple buffets. Sometimes, I hardly ate anything, but others, I made multiple trips. My sleeve is fickle  :P

My restriction is differenty throughout the day & even day to day.  I remember Dr. Aceves discussing this with me pre-op & I thought it strange.  But it does happen.  I am more restricted in the mornings & I'll have a day every now and then when I can eat more than usual (still nothing like pre-op, though!)  I just go with the flow & try to choose healthier foods no matter.

I am only on my 3rd week, but i can definitely eat more in the evening than morning.....but NOTHING like before I was sleeved.  In the AM I can barely get in 1/2 a scrambled egg and at night I can eat 1/4 cup of chicken with 2 T of mashed potatoes.

I'll be two years out on Saturday (wow...), and just like many previus posters, I have days where I feel like I've eaten a horse (WAY too much), and then some days I can barely eat much at any given meal.

For example, today for lunch I had a Lean Cuisine meal (steak tips (maybe 2 oz total) and broccoli w/ a piece of melted cheese over the brocolli for added protein) and could only eat about 3/4 or it. I am STUFFED! But then there are times that I feel like I am eating way too much, like on Suday at Logan's. Ate about 3oz of Filet Mignon plus almost a whole roll before dinner, and a couple small bites of mashed potatoes and broccoli. Bad idea - I felt awful.

I also made the mistake of buying Oreo's the other day thinking I might eat one or two every couple days. Polished it off in two and a half days. BAD IDEA!!! I felt awful for those 3 days. I can see how if you don't stick to how we're SUPPOSED to eat, we can gain weight back easily with sugar and carbs.
