4 months post op
Hey VSG'ers... Hope everyone is doing & feeling great. Well, yesterday was my 4 month surgery anniversary & I finally posted some pictures from before surgery & today... I just want to thank everyone on here for always being just what I need to read whether it's funny, info, *****ing, questions or just everything.
I really feel like this tool we've been given is a true gift/tool from God & our surgeons... Even on yucky days you get on with life because you know that the weight is gonna come off... now I just gotta work on this head of mine... being more disciplined, doing more exercise
(I'm getting about 3 days of cardio & work out with a trainer 1 day a week), cutting myself some slack on not getting it perfect everyday, or not losing as much as the next person did(who cares... I've lost almost 60 pounds & that's pretty freaking fantastic!!!!), loving myself a little more everyday, putting myself on the "the LIST" (if not at the top some days...lol), etc... I guess ya'll get my point.
I'm loving the sleeve & have had such an easy time since surgery & am counting my blessings after reading some of the struggles others are having.
I have a wonderful supportive husband
(who also needs to get the VSG done but that's another post!!!) 2 beautiful miracle babies(Ella 5, Jack 4) a Mom & Dad who love me enough that they helped find some of the $$ for the self pay, a sister who is my best friend, in-laws that love me &&&& live 12 hours away
...tee hee... just a little joke with me & the hubby... but truly blessed... did I mention how BLESSED I am... &&&&&& I have a little sleeve of a tummy that is gonna make me healthy & strong so I can enjoy my blessings!!!! & chase my kids around & their daddy too!!!!
Thanks for reading & if you are in doubt about the surgery...DON'T... It will save your life!!!!
LOVE MY SLEEVE!!!!!!!!!

PS I was gonna post a side by side before & 4 month on this post but was to big of a dork to get it the work so go to my page & see...

Thank you. I just copy and pasted the pics from your profile...just right click and copy and paste one at a time, and then you gotta make the pics smaller to sit next to one other.
I will send a request right now!

WELLLLL Bella, actually I do... but it's getting better... I've not been in pictures for so long & I'm finally letting pictures be taken of me. I've avoided them for years... even with my kiddos much to my regret... lots of Daddy & kids, My excuse has always been, "I taking the pictures".
Thanks for the comment & good luck with your surgery... Keep us up to date on how your doing!!!
