Sick...

I started feeling really bad late yesterday afternoon...I am sooooo tired and I have chills more than usual...I have been in the bed most of the day with the electric blanket on high...I'm drinking tea and water, and I have eaten a tiny bite of Lasagna and about three wheat thins...I feel like I have been run over by a Mack truck...Every joint in my body aches...

Oh, and my husband hasn't  asked once, how I was feeling...
I think he's afraid if he ask he will have to spend money to get me to the Dr....!!!
Sometimes, I just want to disappear...

Sorry, for being a downer....but I'm just sayin'

That darn husband of yours.  You just keep telling us how you're feeling!

I feel your pain.  I came down with a sore throat yesterday afternoon that has gotten progressively worse. I haven't had a sore throat like this is years.  I was awake most of the night because I'd wake up hurting.  I'm laying low today, sipping tea, reading and watching a movie.

Feel Better!

Feel better soon.  Sounds like a bad flu so you are in the right place -- in bed, staying warm and cozy.  Take good care of yourself.

Sorry you're not feeling well, hopefully it's just a 24 hour bug and will pass quickly.

Shame that your husband is not supportive. That would make me a downer too.

*hugs* feel better

It's because the last letter of hoT followed by the first three letters of WATer taken together spell a four letter word.

Yup sounds like the flu.....I have a jail house rememdy....when I was a director of a theraputic community with inmates....I too had a flu....but I couldn't take off.....One of the inmates gave me a drink of:

Ho****er
regular tea ( not herbal)
one crush raw garlic clove
honey and lemon to taste

I guess the tannic acid, the garlic , lemon and garlic produce a penicilian effect.
By the second cup I was a million times better.
I swear by this tea.
I also use it as a prevention as well.

Oh by the way.....men....what can I say....lol.....
