Wow, 29lbs in a week!!!  I had to read your post cuz this is some BIGGEST LOSER stuff here girl!  It's cool that you did the play by play of your first day cuz when you get as far out as me, you don't remember everything.  Best of luck to you on your weight loss journey!

It's funny because I was reallllly hoping I'd lose 30 pounds in a month like many people have, but wasn't counting on it since everyone is different. I'm assuming it's going to slow down here in a bit because it'd be CRAZY if I end up losing 100 pounds this month! hahahah I thought I should since I normally forget details.

Thank you lady! if you need an angel I am totally here! It's kind of hard when you're first out because noone at home will understand what you're going through AT ALL. They're going to know you're in pain, but that's about it. If you have any questions totally feel free to pm since there might be random things you're worried about.

Thanks for sharing Soraya.   I like to have my ducks in a row and this helps a lot since I will be at the same hospital.  I'm guessing Dr. H does things pretty much the same as Dr. K.  I go Wed. for pre-op blood work, chest x-rays and EKG. I probably already told you that. LOL  We are heading to KC tomorrow afternoon.  The weather isn't too great, so we want to allow plenty of time to drive down there.  We got a hotel room so I can be at the hospital by 7:30 Wed. morning.

Wow on the 29 lbs. !!!!!!!!!  I won't know you when I see you again.  You're rocking that sleeve already.

I had my husband take some "before" pictures of me tonight since I start liquids tomorrow and will (SHOULD!) lose some weight before the surgery.  UGH Those pictures are NASTY!  I won't post them on OH until I have lost  enough to tell a big difference.

Take care.

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

That hospital is SO nice. There were barely any people in the rooms so you didn't feel like you had to beg for the nurse. Any time I pushed the button they were there within a minute. I really hope this weather doesn't get too ****ty because it's been pretty cold today! As it gets later the roads have been freezing up.. so that's a good idea!

I know! I couldn't believe it. Apparently not! hahaha you totally lose weight..I lost 7 pre op and I only did my liquid diet for 4 days. Yeah, you don't really look at yourself like that on a day to day basis, ya know?

Good luck with everything and have a safe drive!!!

Congrats on loosing 29 pounds...  I had my surgery on the same day you did and I still haven't weighed myself.  I'm going to see my Dr. next week on the 16th I thought I would wait to get weighed.  I was hoping to loose like twenty in a month but you really broke the record!!!  I'm really happy for you!

Thank you! How are you feeling? my belly is still pretty swollen and I'm having such a hard time getting more than 30 something ounces in. I couldn't wait! hahaha I knew I was losing, so I just had to weigh. I hope it goes well for you! I see my doc tomorrow.
