i'm 5 days out and my doctor is only allowing broths, crystal light, decaf tea, or jello, but he also let me have 2 teaspoons of yogurt, and skim milk which is not really "clear liquid" i'm just amazed that the last time i ate a meal (and it was a small one at that) was 2/22 monday night and i'm not starving.

My program says to avoid cream soups as they are high in fat and carbs. So I did. I got some protein soups instead. (Various brands make them -- WonderSlim, ProtiDiet, etc.)

We are also told to avoid putting fruit in our shakes during the weight loss phase. I did at first, but near the end I needed the carbs sometimes for my longer workouts. Also, in the first month or so, you may want to avoid fruits with seeds. There is a school of thought that they might get caught in your healing staple line.
