I found a great alternative to Isopure!

I was shopping at Linberg Nutrition last night and right above the refrigerated Isopure bottles there was a drink called Cytomax PROTEIN.  It has the exact same NI as Isposure.   I tried the Tropical and it was really good.  It tasted like a Pina Colda (which I love!)  They only have three flavors though: Tropical, Watermelon & Tangerine.  They are kind of sweet, but not in that gross syrupy way that the bullets are.  Just a good sweet.  Here is the NI on it:

Cytomax Protein Pure Performance Drink contains whey protein isolates, protein in nature’s most pure and complete form. Each bottle is packed with 40 grams of protein, and 0 Grams of Carbs and 0 Grams of Sugar. Perfect for anyone on the go. Cytosport has a very clean taste. It is not thick at all, and has 3 great flavors.

Nutrition:
Serving Size 1 bottle, Servings Per Container 1, Calories 160, Total Fat 0, Sodium 85mg, Potassium 180mg, Total Carbohydrate 0g, Sugars 0g, Protein 40g, Calcium 250mg

Other Ingredients: Purified Water, Citric Acid, Sucralose (a non-nutritive sweetener), FD&C Yellow #5, FD&C Red #40, Natural and Artificial Flavor, Phosphoric Acid, Ion Exchange Whey (milk) Protein Isolate

Someone posted about these the other day. I want to try the tangerine. Did it leave a coating on your tongue the way Isopure seems to (aka protein tongue)? I do like the Isopure blue raspberry but would love other drinks.

I haven't noticed the "potein tongue".  Give it a try, the stuff is great!

I love these drinks!!  I have had one everyday since my surgery!  I mix the Watermelon and the Tangerine together to help delute the sweetness.  Out of the 3, Tangerine seems to be the least sweet and Tropical being the sweetest.  If I only have Watermelon left over, I mix it with cold water and ice.  Great stuff!  GNC was selling them...BOGO 1/2 off, when you purchased them by the case (12 bottles).  And I have found them for $27 plus shipping online.

http://www.healthsuperstore.com/p-pure-perf-prortdwtrmln.htm

or you can do a Google search on 'Cytosport Protein' and it will list a few different sites.  I just go with the one with the cheapest overall price INCLUDING the shipping.  Happy Shopping!

I bought it at Lindberg Nutrition (I think it's a So Cal - South Bay store) but you can by it online.  I googled it this morning and a lot of stores came up including ibariatric, com.  This wasn't on my list, just the Isopure, but I am going to show my NUT because it's the exact same ingredients and NI.  OH did I mention that it was $1 a bottle cheaper than the Isopure too!!!!
