They are highly concentrated protein shots - usualy 2-3oz in a tube, usually a fruit flavor. Most people here like the "Healthy Shot" brand, the one I had was Body Xpress from Walmart. They are gross, if a person has any aversion to the taste of whey I personally do not recommend these. I'm shuddering as I type this just from the memory of the taste.

I have been drinking three of those a day all weekend so far to get all my protein in (still on liquids) and I haven't had that reaction. Sometimes lightheaded but I think its when I get up too fast and it's happened before I even started on these. Good luck!

They are a bit "sweet" for me... and I do feel a tad nauseated (preop) if I drink it too fast... but what I have been doing now that works great for me... is I have my shake in afternoon... I go to Starbucks and get a cup with ice and 1 shot of decaf then I pour the shake over it and sip off it (tastes like an iced mocha!) for 30-45 min and I seem to be much better able to tolerate it.   :-)  Good luck!  Amy

I drink them too and haven't had any problems with them.
I'd maybe try again and see if it happens again.

I have been drinking these for 8 months.  I drink them on an empty stomache.  One for breakfast and one on the way home from work.  If I drink one too soon after eating, I feel nauseated and I can't drink a whole one.  Maybe you should allow a couple of hours between eating and drinking the shakes.  Good luck!

I have had the same exact feeling many times after drinking them too quickly or drinking them to close to eating a meal. I don't get the same feeling from the EAS Carb Control, but they only have 17 grams of protein in them, so if I need the extra grams of protein I drink the Premier Protein. I've learned to just slow it down and no sudden movements and everything seems to be okay. I've been drinking them for 5 1/2 months now.
