Polenta?

I don't like polenta, but I'll put that aside for a moment and try to be helpful. (I also think grits are gross, but there are those that don't like poutine...)
Since you're at goal (I deleted a really fine lecture when I realised that) there's no good reason you couldn't try it. It's normally served (here, at least) heated, sliced and topped with a marinara sauce. The pre-made tubes have the plus of already being cooked, so if you like it it'd certainly be an easy addition to your meal. Also - if you don't like it, you didn't invest a lot of time or money and could just chuck it.

PS - people still in weight loss phase, especially new sleevers - polenta is a very, very bad idea. You don't have the room for it physically or calorically and it would more than likely sit in your poor, abused sleeve like a brick. If you're going to eat grains stick with easier to digest ones like oatmeal, quinoa and whole grain toast.

I can buy these locally, and if I may make a suggestion? Don't buy a whole lot of them until you know if you like them. I've tried 3 different versions and just couldn't get past the texture or smell. (They smell fishy and have to be rinsed well before adding them to your dish)
;
The texture is very different than regular noodles - almost like bean sprouts, but a wee *****ewier.
The no calories but some protein is a myth. Some versions have no calories, but protein has 4 calories per gram, so no calories makes any protein impossible.
Now - may I make another point while trying to not be a pain? We have very limited capacity, yes? I don't know about you, but I don't have space for anything at all that isn't providing me with something nutritionally. Something that takes up space but isn't providing me with protein, fibre, vitamins or even simple deliciousness doesn't make it into my diet. (I fit the occasional small sweet into my plan - very small, like a single square of really good chocolate or piece of double salt licorice.
No-calorie noodles make sense for someone wanting to keep calories down while filling a normal sized stomach, but for someone with 1/2 cup capacity? I think not.
Finally, if I want pasta I make my family a meal with whole grain fusilli and have a bite or two of the real thing - after I eat my protein for that meal.

Someone else posted this link and tried these "miracle noodles" (she loved them)
I have not ordered any yet, but I plan to try some. They do not have any carbs (or calories which I'm not sure how), but do have some protein (not much, but some!)
It may be an alterative if you are really craving some kind of pasta.
