A person that I am following on YouTube had found this mug on the internet and had brought it and put in her video. It dispenses 1 teaspoon per tip. It is pricy ($25.88 before shipping) but I brought one because I couldnt find a comperable cup on the net and it seemed to be a good idea since everyone saids to take small sips. I just wanted to be prepared.

Here is a picture of it (from the website) and a copy of the link. http://www.bariatricdiet.com/lil_sip_mug.htm

If you just want to do a internet search: lil sip mug

I hope this was helpful...(Even if I havent gotten my surgery yet)

China,
I was looking for something similar, and I found a stainless sports drink bottle with a short "straw" appendage coming out of the cap....impossable to take more than a sip out of it. It also came with a regular screw lid and a cara****** too. Got them at Wallgreens Pharmacy. I think they were $5, although your mug will be good for hot liquids!!

When I had my surgery I bought littte 2oz dixe cups.. My program requires that you track your fluids and taking tiny sips out of a 2oz cup made it easy for me to track. I just counted my empty cups!

Dragongirl,
If you could post a picture of it or give me the name of it,  I would greatly appreciate it. We dont have a Wallgreen's in the Harrisburg area and I want to check CVS and/or Riteaid to see if they have that product. Need something else to keep at work for when I go back and the thought of a kid's sippy cup just doesnt do it for me (ok so I am a little stuck up, sue me..LOL)

There are Walgreens in Chambersburg and York, PA.  I know for sure that there is one in Chambersburg.

I used a child's sippy cup for a while immediately after surgery. I swear I was taking small sips...but somehow the sippy cup made everything go down significantly easier. I couldn't believe it. It was a tip from this board that I felt very thankful to have read. I didn't use the cup for more than a few weeks.
