I looked at several of your pictures and you are absolutely beautiful. Thank you for coming back and helping us feel like there is still some enjoyment to food. The two foods that I most wondered about were hamburgers and pizza. So you are my hero for today.

My only questions deals with your health? Have you had any stomach issues or concerns?  How have you dealt with stomach virsuses, other stomach situations, etc. and medications for the last 4 years.

What advice would you give us newbies?  Each person is an individual but what have been your lessons learned for 4 years of sleeving it?

Thank you for your comments. Much appreciated.

Working at this everyday, Wishing for great days, and Praying for the best,

My stomach was very weak for about 8 months.  When I would smell something gross, I would gag.  I haven't had many stomach viruses but have had some.  I don't attribute them to the surgery though.  I really haven't had any problems.  The advice I have for you is to enjoy eating.  If you eat something that you are not supposed to, it won't kill you because you won't be able to eat much of it anyway.  I don't deprive myself of ANYTHING.  For the first 6 months, I went by the book but after that, I was on my own.  Lol!  Your body will tell you what you can and cannot have, believe me.  In the beginning, make sure you get your protein.  That is very key to your weight loss.  One more piece of advice is to stay off of the scale everyday.  It can discourage you.  I look a lot smaller than I actually weigh so I stopped weighing myself all the time.  As long as I look good and my clothes still fit, I don't worry about it too much. Good luck and I'm here for all of you.
