It's always great when a sense of normalcy sets in, huh? I realized super early out when we don't make a big deal about it, others tend to follow suit.

They use to have a burger on their menu that had lettuce leaves instead of bread. I ate it when i had my band.

Lettuce and my stomach rarely agree (been that way since before I had surgery, so it's not my sleeve, thankfully), but you can order any of their burgers without a bun, doesn't have to be the 'special' burger. Which is awesome. Reading their menu later, I discovered you can even ask for any of them to be served wrapped in lettuce. So, anyway, I got my favorite burger without a bun, totally made my day.

wow nice they treated you well but I looked at the menu and being a non-meat-chicken eater (fish and dairy only), there is not ONE single thing I could eat there, lol.

Yup. If you don't eat chicken or beef, not many options.

I can't wait to go to Red Robin again! Maybe some time over the summer (surgery is due March 8). I am on the pre-op diet and practically drool every time they run the commerical for their new burger!
I have a dinner nearby that gives that type of service, too - fruit instead of potatoes with my Egg beaters, for example.
Glad you had such a nice time.
