I usually eat 2 pieces of canadian bacon or regular bacon and the 100 calorie Cottage Doubles (cottage cheese with fruit).  They have strawberry, blueberry, peach and pineapple (my fav).  Usually fills me up until lunch!

I usually eat leftovers from last night's dinner. It may be weird, but I've never ever been a huge breakfast fan and I know that if I don't eat, I'll be in huge trouble.

This AM, I had chicken and veggies with a little bit of chinese garlic sauce. :)

You Americans eat some weird stuff.

I have been having a smoothie of skim milk wizzed up with 1/2 banana and a strawberry.  It is very yummy and a proper breakfast giving us protein and potassium no need for sugar or splenda etc. and it fills you up

I am so over eggs too!  the only way I can stand them now is hard boild or in egg salad.

That being said, I always have non traditional food for breakfast.  I love the fact that I can have 2-3 oz of a pork chop with some veggies for breakfast.  Or baked salmon, or chicken breast or some meatballs. Chicken salad, meatloaf, pulled pork, pulled beef..... Girl, there are plenty of things you can have for breakfast that are non-traditional.

I like variety. some days I do the RTD protein shakes. I chase it with a half cup of cheerios. . . 50 calories of crunch! Sometimes I have Greek yogurt with a couple of teaspoons of fruit and nut granola stirred in for texture. or steel-cut oatmeal with brown sugar splenda and a teaspoon of chopped nuts for extra protein and flavor. On weekends, I may have eggs and meat.

- half green apple sliced thin w/a flavored or plain babybel cheese cut up on each slice
- some cucumber sliced thin w/a flavored or plain laughing cow cheese cut up on each slice
- half banana sliced mashed up w/some peanut butter (lowfat / natural creamy) w/a dab of honey
- any of the fruit greek yogurts
- 1/4 cup veggie-soy sausage (meatless) mixed w/some sour cream, cheese & salsa

these are the amounts i can get in , i am 7 weeks post-op.. i have trouble with eggs (any form) still so dont have them unfort.
