Not in Ketosis anymore as of just right now. Suggestions to get me back into ketosis...

I have been in ketosis  a deep purple all along.
The last two days I have been adding more food and notg watching the carbs I guess.
Now that I can eat anything.....   so as of now,,, since i have a cold...  between my cough medicine and my chloriseptic pills.....  I am officially out of ketosis.,

BooOoooOooooOooo.  I am going to try and only have a protein day tomorrow to see if this bumps me back into ketosis. 

man I just cannot stop sneezing one after the other after the other after the other writing this post.

What do you all suggest i do to get me back into ketosis?

Probably need to drop the carbs back down. also, check the cold meds thay may have some sugar carbs in them as well. good luck and keep working on it.

A darker color can also be indicative of dehydration, not deeper ketosis. The more you drink the more diluted your ketones will be and the lighter your color will be. You do not need to be in a higher color, you just want to REGISTER ketosis.. that's sufficient. In fact if you are seeing darker colors that's a good sign you want to up your liquid intake. In order to put yourself in ketosis you must cut out all dairy, starchs, fruit juices, sugars.  Stay within a 800 cal a day progam and the colour of your urine does not mean you are in ketosis.  I burn ketones often and my urine is clear.  When checking always do first thing in the am and lastin the pm, usually your morning urine is the best.
If you are struggling to burn ketones go back onto a liquid diet for a few days, I can usually get back burning within 24 hours.

I am not understanding why you want to be in Ketosis and what is the benefit?  I haven't heard of this before so would like a little info.  Thanks for any info you can provide.

Sent you a PM about ketosis.  Sent you a little more detail, but in summary,
It is making reference to checking your urine to see if your body is burning stored fat or not.
Ketostix can be used to check for this.

Alot of low carb diets use this as a tool for assisting with the monitoring.
