Anybody know a good protein bar that tastes good and isn't excessive on the carbs?

I second that! Pure Protein bars are good and have good nutritional stats.

I'll chime in as a third vote for PURE PROTEIN bars.  Very tasty, and the carbs and sugar are very low.  Protein is pretty high, and lots of variety in flavors.  Good luck with your search.

Walmart, Target, Amazon... I think they're ok.  Better than most with the nutritional stats.

Current weight: 170 lbs.

Once I reach goal, this cow will be killed & eaten... 2 ounces at a time.

Total includes 56 lbs. lost on 2-month low carb pre-op diet.  Start date 9/13/10.

I too love PURE PROTEIN and get them at Costco or Wal-Mart.

I'm mainly a lurker here but thought I'd chime in.  My two favorite protein bars are Pure Protein (found pretty much everywhere; Wal-Mart, Kroger, Meijer, drugstores..) and Power Crunch wafer bars (protein count is mid-range around 13-14 grams and only 10 grams of carbs, a bit high in fat though).
