4 days and COUNTING! Getting anxious

It seems as if time is standing still. I have my surgery on Friday and am on a 5 day liquid diet; which I started Sunday. It seems as though last week flew by and this week is just lolly gagging. I'm glad my surgeon referred me to this site. It has been very encouraging, helpful, and insightful. I hope to build friendships with people that have the same stuggles, goals, and outlook on life as me. Any last minute words of advice/wisdom is greatly appreciated.

 I feel ya dear!! My surgery is tomorrow and the few days have been wonderfully slow and aggonizing (sp??)!!!  Hang in there dear heart. We have made it this far and together with each others support and the love and support of our family and friends we will make it the rest of the way. And then live happily ever after!!!  

I hope that both of you alls surgery goes well.  Think positively!! Friday will be here before you know it.  Your 5 day liquid diet is prepping you for the 2 weeks you will have after surgery.  Hopefully you've stocked up on things you enjoy.  There's SO much information on the site.  I'm almost 2 weeks out so I don't have a whole lot of insight, but stick around and there's a wealth of support on the site.  Invaluable!!  Be well!!

 Good luck and best wishes for an easy recovery!! I will remember you in my prayers. Just hang in there and think of how good things will be, and it will be worth it inspite of any struggles. SO happy and excited for you. It's a scary wonderful feeling to commit to this journey, isn't it?

Im also having surgery on Fri in Pittsburgh.This clear liquid diet is one of the toughest things ive ever had to cope with. This is day 3 of liquids for me also hang in there and good luck

This has definitely been one of the tallest mountains I have had to climb. But I just keep thinking: "It will be down hill from here on out; down the scale anyway." Good luck Friday! 2 more days!

Yes, hang in there! I get so scared too (and I don't even have a date), then I think, well, all these other folks did it and seem to be doing GREAT. You're really very brave.
