1st meeting with surgeon!

 Today  I meet with my surgeon for the first time, as well as a dietician, and the program coordinator.  I am so excited I cannot contain myself!  I honestly have no idea how this appointment will go, but I have everything I need, my food log, medical history questions, as well as a list of questions I have for the surgeon. 

Is this the time where the surgeon tells you how much weight to loose pre-surgery? I'm praying it's not too much because I want to have the surgery in the summer before the new semester starts.  I don't think I could do the surgery in the middle of a semester, and I certainly do not want to wait a year.  -__-

I also think this is where we decide which surgery is the best for me. I am going to tell him I want the sleeve!

How exciting! I hope you get your surgery figured out for the summer.  I just found out that my insurance covers most of the WLS costs and I have my first meeting with the sugeon in 2 weeks.  I'm hoping I won't have to wait too long for the surgery either.  When I went to the information session they said anywhere between 3-6 months is normal... I'm hoping for the shorter time :)

Ooo! Yes! Good luck to you too!  It's a very exciting process! I'm trying not to get tooo excited tho, just in case something doesn't go the way I planned. >_
