8 weeks ago we had our4th child....2nd VSG baby, our other baby is 18 months old.....

During the first pregnancy I gained 18 pounds and never took it back off due to laziness and still having a normal BMI I was not too worried about it since I was staying the same and my husband kept telling me I needed to put a little back on because I was looking too thin anyway. 8 months later I got pregnant again. With this baby I gained 29 pounds and have lost 13 of that so all together want to lose about 25-30 now.

Today I started the 5 day pouch test to jump start my weight loss, regain control and to try to tighten my sleeve back up again. Have any of you done this before? What were your results? Any tips for me that you found worked well for you? I am ready to get back in my skinny clothes!

Here's a website for explanation and directions.
I've decided to do this next week just to do a carb detox.
Plus it really works with my crazy work schedule.
Best of both worlds.

Oh shoot...another tip....to help guarantee your success with it!!

MAKE SURE you PREPARE for the NEXT DAY ahead of time!!  so it takes a bit of planning...making sure you have the foods on hand ...allowed as each day progresses.

I don't remember but...it seems to me YOGURT was NOT on the LIST of acceptable foods.
so double check that...could be too many carbs I dunno!

If ya screw it up eatin some type of food that's not on the list...get on track AS SOON AS POSSIBLE...
not too big a deal!!

But MOST IMPORTANTLY!!!

CONGRATS ON THEM VSG BABIES!!!
how frikken cool is THAT!!!

Thanks! We are so blessed with beautiful healthy babies!

So far so good. I know I can do it! Thanks for the tips! That is why I thought I would get my butt back over here, so many great ideas and such a wonderful support system.

So far today:
Adkins protein shake
2 sugar free vanilla pudding cups
1/2 cup of cream of potato soup (which surprises me that cream soups are ok)

Water so far - 40 oz, which is huge for me. All I ever drink is 1 32 oz sweet tea a day from McDonalds. I am never thirsty...

Not hungry and no headache at this point anyway!
