You'll probably be glad you did the 2-week liquid diet, because it helps your body with the transition after the surgery. It's already a shock to the system to get the surgery, so you don't want your body to be unprepared for the new diet.
The hospital professionals are there to take care of you. If you have pain, they will give you pain meds. I had lots of trembling and shaking right after the operation but they gave me something for that and it was gone. They want you to be comfortable and are very skilled at that.
It's normal to be scared. I eventually realized that I wasn't going to be able to convince myself to stop being scared, so I tried to roll with it.

BIG BIG BIG HUGS !!!!!
You will do great and be just fine. Just think of all the things you will be able to accomplish in your new body that you can't do now..
If you are still really nervous in the morning tell your doctor and they can give you something to help you calm down. They will handle all of your pain needs in the hospital and give you something to take home with you.
Just remember you are having major surgery and it will take a little time to get your energy back. Give yourself time to heal and get used to your new tummy.
BEST WISHES !!

It was amazing to me how quickly I started feeling better and better. I had to have a hernia repair (discovered during my sleeve procedure), so I had more discomfort than I would have without it. Pain meds totally relieved, and hour by hour I felt more normal. I'm down 9 pounds since surgery last Thursday, so that's an awesome pain reliever as well! Wishing you a smooth, smooth recovery and good luck on your weight loss journey.
