How many you think I can eat? My DH is thinking 12. Before WLS I could eat 5lbs. For those that are not familiar with this delicacy; that is 5lbs before peeled. Of course it was maybe a pound peeled.

I could easily down 10 lbs presurgery without thinking about it...a few weeks ago I had 8(qty 8 not lbs...4 then 4 more 30 minutes later) and got stuffed....it was the most depressing thing that has happened to me since surgery.....

I never did suck the heads so if you're a head sucker...I'd say 6....

Thanks! I'm guessing they are a good source of protein. But 6-12 crawfish probably doesn't have much. Only 6 - 8 crawfish  I think I just may eat them for lunch and dinner. I'll just have to make a protein packed shake for breakfast to get in my daily amount.

I can eat 6 as an "appetizer," then get a fish entree, have a few bites, and take the rest home.  If you're just eating crawfish, 15 would be my guess.

I couldn't imagine my life not ever eaten crawfish before.

Yep, just crawfish. Of course everyone else will be endulging in sausage, mushrooms, onions, corn, potatoes, and the dip that accompanies a crawfish boil. But I will stick to the crawfish.

I'll mail you some if you mail me a Central Grocery Muffalata! LOL! I bet a VSGer could eat on one of those for a year! LOL! I'm sure gonna miss those! I walked my big butt down Decatur with a broken leg to get one (well more than one.) Everytime we'd go to NOLA my DH and I would go buy several and bring home to have for a week or so and to share with friends. Love me a Central Grocery Muffalata!
