I have to order my pizza with no cheese and only eat veggie toppings the meat make me dump. The fat in the cheese makes me dump. Grease  is so bad for me.
My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

Where are you in your plan?
If you're on solids, why not make a little pizza using a portobello mushroom for the bottom.
Use a tomato slice or lf sauce, some turkey pepperoni, chopped veggies and lf cheese. Be creative based on what you like. Allot of pizza joints saute the meats and veggies in oil. You can make better at home.

Pizza is a terrible temptation for me. I stay as far away from it as possible.

Lots of post-ops eat pizza that way.  Some people limit fat (I don't, except how it contributes to overall calories for the day) & pizza toppings can be high-fat, so assuming it's in your food plan, and assuming you're in the regular food stage, enjoy!

Check out The World According to Eggface for pizza recipes you can make, also.

When my sleeve was super tiny, I only had room for the toppings. Now I eat about 1/2 slice with crust on the bottom and the rest of the toppings.

It's a sad day when we feel guilty for eating 1/2-1 slice of pizza. Pizza is not unhealthy.

Nope, it's not. It can be kind of salty (the sauce) but that's why we drink water, LOL. I don't need the carbs right now myself but guilt? Psh. We don't need it at all. Ever.

How you doing? You're looking GREAT!

Why feel guilty? Unless, of course, you are not at a point in your post op plan where you can eat more solid foods. Then, don't feel guilty, but be careful.

When the family wants pizza, I just eat the toppings. As I said in another comment, it can be kind of salty (the sauce) and I often end up retaining some water, but that's part of why we drink water, heh heh. I know a few low carbers who never had surgery who eat the topping when everybody else wants pizza. It's no big deal.

yes I can have it. I'm on solids.  I guess I am just feeling guilty because I have stalled. 1 lb. in 10 days.  I feel like I'm doing something wrong.

Stalling is not a good indicator of following or not following your plan.  If you're tracking what you consume, you know whether you are or not.  I don't have it often... just because I don't have any reason to order pizza... but if I'm somewhere that has pizza, you're damn right I eat the toppings off a slice.  I don't care for the bread, but I love cheese & pepperoni.  As a matter of fact, I keep pepperoni & cheese in my fridge for an occassional meal... so what's the difference?  Savor & enjoy!

Current weight: 170 lbs.

Once I reach goal, this cow will be killed & eaten... 2 ounces at a time.

Total includes 56 lbs. lost on 2-month low carb pre-op diet.  Start date 9/13/10.
