Can eat WAY more than I expected. Whaaaaa!
I have thought this to many times to count. When I switched from liquids to soft/pureed foods it took me about a week to figure it out. I have limited myself to 4oz of what I'm eating. I read what others say they eat and feel like I'm eating a ton compared to them! My main staple is cottage cheese, greek yogurt and hard boiled eggs. I throw in scrambled eggs and just this past week have switched from dannon fruit on the bottom greek yogurt to plain with sugar free syrup to flavor it, this cuts down a TON of carbs and my weight loss has really picked up. I can eat more I just don't, I am good with half a cup, it last's me the 2 hours my doctor said to go before eating again so I stick with it. Add me as a friend on MFP and you can look at my diaries and see what I've been eating. I'm still on soft/pureed foods but mainly because I had to change my appt so I won't get advanced officially til next week, otherwise it would've been last week.

blossom, hi there, it happens you eat things that you know you shouldnt, but then you realize you cant do that every day, so your fine, tomarrow is another day, start fresh, and theres going to be days where your hungry, head or tummy hungry, then days you cant eat much all day, i still get full very fast, but have times i can eat alot, depends, i still have alot of trouble eating meat, makes me sick most of the time, same with boiled eggs, i eat almost the same things daily cause my tummys very picky since wls, i eat EVERYDAY, peanutbutter toast, with nacho doritos on top, breads gotta be really toasted or it makes me sick, cottage cheese, celery and cream cheese, sometimes soups but not much else, so my point is in a way you are lucky that you dont have a pickey tummy, just limit your meal size and your going to be fine......take care and best of luck in your weightloss, your going to learn sooooooo much........tracy.

You don't want to make this a habit, but it happens. And you aren't going to gain weight from 1200 c/day, it's just not what you want right now. I do think you need to work on controlling the 'junk' urge in favor of healthier calories; if you want juice, get real fruit juice which does have a lot of vitamins and antioxidants (and carbs, but I'm not a carb-a-phobe) for less calories than JJ. If you MUST have chocolate now and then, get ONE of those individual SMALL squares of Ghirdelli that are on the candy rack now-if you can't limit it to that then candy is a NO for you.
You are not able to eat a lot more than me, by the way. Greek yogurt is filling to me, and making sure you get all your water in helps as well. I suspect you might have been short on liquid intake on the days you ate too much, maybe.

I was banded on 03/21/11 and today I bought a 5 piece chicken nugget for lunch. It took 5 hours but I finished all the nuggets. I am not sure if that is a good way to do it but I ate on them all day. Is this considered grazing? From now on I am passing on nuggets because I felt like they were calling my name all day.
