ok I have a suggestion...its in my area but this is what I know so Im suggesting it....lol.....im also open to other things

In Delaware County, 30 mins outside philly is Ridley Creek State Park.   Beautiful setting...  convenient to rte 476/76.   You can reserve pavillions with picnic benches and bathrooms close by...there is also one particular pavillion that has playground equipment in case anyone comes as a family with small children.  there are also grills there if we want to bbq.  the reason I suggest this is because in the boathouse row area of philly on weekendd the road is closed and you would have to find parking and walk to a location we designate.  Also there are not immediate bathrooms or picnic tables....everything would have to be carried in.

Once we decide and pick a date I would be happy to handle reserving the pavillion and getting appropriate directions together for everyone if that needs them in addition to any other stuff.  I thought this might be a good idea because of the bathroom/picnic table thing and also if the weather is iffy we would still be under the pavillion and could atleast hang for a while and enjoy each others company

I love the idea of having a pavillion in case of iffy weather. I would hate to plan something outdoors then have to scratch it with bad weather. At least we could still keep the date and venue if we have some protection. Never heard of this park but sounds like a good one
