First time being sick since VSG... FML
So last night I started to feel al lil ****ty… and by the middle of the night I wanted to die. Feels like the full on flu. Body aches, stiff neck and back, going back and forth between sweating and a fever. And the weirdest thing… a like constant bloody nose??? What the **** My throat hurts so bad I can hardly swallow, so of course Im worried about dehydration. I took a couple tylenols around 5am, which did very little to ease my suffering. So for those of you who have been sick, did it feel worse than usual. I cant recall ever feeling this bad in my life!!! Are meds like dayquil and niguil okay to take in normal doses? And how the hell do you make yourself drink your water when you just wanna lay down and ******g die???? Okay back to work now… someone save me!

I've always taken the regular adult doses when I've been "sick". I get chest/sinus "colds" every year religiously. I swear by nyquil liquid caps for night time relief, and that Theraflu warming liquid was the a lifesaver for me when I couldn't kick it with Dayquil/Nyquil combo.
Hope you feel better soon.
Hope you feel better soon.

yep-
sound familiar- being sick after vsg has been 1000x worse than preop. it is easy to get dehydrated during sickness, trust me have had to go get fluids 3 times now due to illness dehydration.
i do take normal doses of meds, it just sucks because it feels like you have been hit by a truck. get better soon, rest if u can, and try and sip which isnt so easy when you are knocked out on nyquil..
im worried about your bloody nose
get well soon
