April 2011 Sleevers: How's it going?
I'm not having such a good day. Seems like everything I try to eat today doesn't agree with me (even if it did yesterday). So, I'm adding back in one more smoothie to replace yet another meal.
Just not a good day. My weight loss since surgery is sitting at 22 lbs. Prior to surgery, I lost 25 lbs so 47 lbs total.

You are doing really well getting the weight off. I still try to do a shake a day to get enough protein in. Keep rolling along!
Hey everybody..my surgery was April 18th..down 21 lbs (includes 6 preop)..down 20 inches. Feel like I am kind of a slow loser, but maybe not. My daughter had hers on April 6th and she is down 31 lbs.but she is a lot younger than I am. Getting most of the fluids in and 60-80 grms of protein a day..all from food..can't go the shakes anymore. Eat 6 meals a day of about a quarter to a half a cup..about 800 calories. Getting all vitamins and no exercise yet..just don't have the get up and go yet. Waiting for the pool water to warm up so I can swim...On the whole very happy with my progress..getting into clothes I havent worn in a long while...hoping that by losing a little slower, my skin will bounce back a little better...good luck to you all...

Sleeved 4/18 and doing great for the most part.
I'm down 15 lbs since surgery, 50 lbs since seminar date...I lost a lot on the pre-op liquid diet which ended up dragging out to 4 weeks for me (long story). I'm likely to be a bit of a slow loser due to some adrenal issues/steroid use, but I expect to get to goal within a year.
I hit the dread three-week stall and it lasted a week, but I took off two lbs this past weekend.
My 4 week visit was today and I'm released for most activity. Exercise had been a problem because I had back spasms, but I've been walking and will now start some light resistance to see how my back does. If it cooperates for a week or two I'll go to the elliptical and maybe some weights.
Protein: I'm getting enough, but only by eating two meals a day and drinking the rest. I have so much restriction when I eat I can't get more than 1 to 1.5 oz of mushies in. Strangely, drinking my protein and not eating it doesn't bug me.
Liquids: I've been drinking fiber drinks to help deal with the BM problem and it's helping. Quantities, close to or at my surgeon's goal.
Supplements just fine.

Keep doing what you are doing, it's working!!
Benefiber strawberry/kiwi in stick packs is good, and Crystal Light has a natural raspberry/peach fiber stick pack. Both have 3 grams of fiber and make a 16 oz drink.
Benefiber orange has 3 grams of fiber in 8 oz; I drink 16 so 6 grams of fiber. I'm getting about 15-18 grams a day that way, and some of my protein drinks also have fiber. I also take Colace every day and have been "performing" on a schedule of at least every other day.

Hello April sleevers! My surgery was 4/7. I'm down 29#. I can eat just about anything, but small quantities. I'm tracking food on myfitnesspal.com and getting 700 calories and about 70 protein in. My doc wants 90-100 protein. I'm also a bit low on liquids - getting about 6 of the 8 glasses a day. Just a few days ago added protein shakes which help on both counts. Eating about the same as everyone else mentions here. Exercise has been nil, unless you count running around after my almost 3 year old. Taking 1 step at a time to first get eating under control. Plus battling a terrible flu since Friday, but better today. Everyone keep up the great work!
