Hello, checking in here and feeling fantastic..although at this moment, i am exhausted cuz I only slept 3 1/2 hrs after working all night, but only 2 night shifts left for me then I start normal daytime hours..so excited and my body is ready

I had my 3 month check up a week early today, due to starting my new job next week and I officially hit the 60 pound mark with 25 total inches lost. My nut and surgeon are very happy with my success and said to keep doing exactly what I am doing, so that's my plan...Lovin' my sleeve like nobodys business...

I'm down 34 lbs, been stalled for 3 GD weeks.  It's really frustrating.  I struggle to get in my protein and I almost never get in the fluids I should.  I'm just not hungry and I forget to eat.  I'm still learning to find that sated point, I probably hurl once a week, cause I had that one too many bites.  I tolerate soft foods over say denser ones.  Cottage cheese, cheese, deli turkey, eggs.   I bought turkey meatballs from Trader Joe's (which I love) but can only eat  1 and 1/2...then I gag. Not chewing enough, I know...my head knows that, but I keep ******g up.   I really trying hard not get discouraged.  I know my body will start losing again...how can I barely get in 600-800 calories, exercise and not lose????

I need to remind myself that I am finally in onederland (been years) and I'm only 5 lbs away from having an "Overweight" BMI.  My pants are getting bigger, but not to the point where I feel a smaller size is in order.  I think I was in such denial about my weight, that I was shoving my  230 lbs into a 14, when I should have been wearing a 16.  My bra's, are about the only thing that I definitely need to buy smaller.  I have always had huge boobs, so I am glad they are benefiting!

So that's me in a nutshell.  Disappointed but fully aware this too shall pass.

Congrats to the rest of you sisters and brothers!  I'm really jealous of your progress but happy for you too!

yep, im a Feb sleever too.. doin well w/ diet (lots of restriction), tho i'm finding ways to include superfoods n such - anything to accelerate weight-loss hehe (just very impatient).

i went on an 'exercise burnout' at the gym, then just cut it out & went back to some machines at home & walking outside, naturally easier to go & do, plus lighter on the $

im finding more focus on a stricter diet & less exercise works best for me (ie i didnt lose anything when i gym-ed 5 days a week but lost a few the week i didnt do anything or light stuff, any movement is good basically) is my experience.

anyways, im happy to read all the inspiring posts, articles & insight ppl share on here.. i look upto several vets & try n mimic their styles. but really each to their own on their individ experiences!

feel free to friend me if u like, & continued success to all of us!

Hi all,

I had my sleeve Feb 1st 2011 and have lost 60 pounds since my highest weight.
See stats below.

As of a couple of weeks ago, I notice when I brush my hair in the morning I have
a lot more hair loss.  I wear my hair in a pony tail more so strands dont go everywhere.
I notice I dont have as much restriction as the beginning and felt a little bummed over
this.  Its more discipline for me now.  Weight loss slows down when I eat salty foods.
Right this second I want to eat the world but wont.  Today I focused on smaller portions
than I have been eating lately so that is prolly why I want to eat the world.

Other than that...I am very grateful I can walk, medical conditions are diminishing etc.
I feel so much better and I do have the faith I am going in the right direction even if it does
slow down.

Love seeing all the Feb sleevers here!!!

 Hello!

Things are going well in Colleen's VSG land....We are on a long RV trip across the northern US and southern Canada. No scale in the RV, so no numbers to report! I can say that my pants (my new size 16 jeans are loose!) and bras don't fit.

I am eating just fine, getting in liquids without problem. I am well under 20g of protein most days, I think I have gone over twice. I am down to one shake per day (Unjury with water and crystal light). My calories sit between 750 and 800 per day. I basically eat lean meats and cheese with nuts as a treat at the end of my day. Oh, and fiber. *LOTS* of benefiber.

I am not excercising beyond caring for the RV, three kids and adventuring on our journey.

I am stalking scales, though. I literally have not stepped on a scale since 4/10 and am quite curious! I went to a Target today to get other things, and found the scales but they don't have any floor models?! WTF? Frustrating! I *know* Costco does, so that's my strategy for now...hee hee.
