Not eat 'normal' portions but the feeling.  When I eat now I can feel it.  Im not quite 4 weeks out and on pureed foods.  Will it always feel like this?  Like I can feel every little thing that goes down or does that feeling go away?  And about how long did it take for that feeling go away?

For me I stop noticing the digestion process after like 2 months.  I still hear the gurgling sometimes and if i eat or drink something hot I feel that but i used to feel that pre surgery.

I'm a little over 2 months out and still feel restriction if that's what you mean.  I feel every bite and every swallow whether its food or liquid.  I like that about this surgery because I am noticing what I eat and drink rather than just mindless consuming.

I, too, feel what you speak of. I notice it mostly with protein foods. When on pureed foods my stomach prefered the pureed carrots over the meatballs. The high protein foods sometimes feel like they get a little stuck. I can feel them. Now that I am eating canned veggies, my stomach doesn't do that with the vegetables I am eating but it does for protein. However, I notice that protein makes me feel fuller longer.

Over the weekend I had a low bloodsuger issue for the first time. I was shopping and I started to feel weak, shaky and even started to perspire. I bought a protein bar and sat in the car for a few until I felt better. Even though I have protein at every meal, I realized if I haven't eaten in 3 hours, its best to make sure I have a little something or have it in my purse!
