  Morning Everyone,

WOW we had a tornado pass over my home last night.   It was REALLY scary.   Thank God we are all OK.   I haven't gone outside this AM to see if there are any damage.   I think we are OK.   I was out in the yard......our city sirens went off and all the neighbors were out also.   One yelled at me and pointed up to the tornado headed our way.    Needless to say I went inside the house.    As far as I know it didn't touch down near my home.    We ALL have so very much in our lives to be so grateful for.   This is a post to remind us all that no matter how bleak life seems there is always a rainbow somewhere in there.    PLEASE feel free if you wish to tell us what you are grateful for today.    Today I am grateful for.......

My family surviving the tornado,
For my Life and health,
My WLS and all the choices of different surgeries,
For family and friends,
For being able to do things that I never thought possible before WLS,
For support groups that keep me on track and accountable to others,
For my home, husband's job, and my precious fur babies,
For all the good things that come into my life,
For my Faith and answered prayers,
For the upcoming OH Conference in New Orleans, La. Sept. 9 -10.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Vivian - I live in Rockwall and put my daughter and 4 dogs in the car and tried to outrun the storm. Instead, the storms changed directions and headed straight for us. It was stupid not to stay put and trust the Lord to protect us, as I've done in the past, but there has been so much devastation lately with tornadoes that I simply freaked out. I feel ridiculous this morning that I put my daughter through that. Always trust in God. He will never leave us nor forsake us.

Goodness....Karen so glad that God had his hand on you and your daughter and protected you.   WOW those were some really scary storms !!!!  I figure...when it is my time to go....I am ready.    I do always trust God to protect me and my family.   My middle son ( 25 ) called and was thinking of getting in his truck and leaving his apartment because he lives on top floor.   I told him to stay put with those tornado's out he was safer in  his apartment than out driving in it.   I went to NE Mall and stayed there for over a hour walking ( when the weatherman said it was about to hit ).   Not sure what happened to that one but a hour later when I got home was when it hit.   I was not going to go back to the mall.     Glad you are safe today.
