VSG Summer Treat Ideas

I'm a ice cream kind of girl in the summer, so I was thinking what would be good to replace. (although I do eat on occasion).  Anyway, I bought a snowcone machine at Bed, Bath, and Beyond that I can't wait to try out.  Love me some shaved ice.  The syrup isn't too bad, but I thought I could get the sugar free variety or even fresh lemon or lime juice.  So now I'm asking.....what is your VSG friendly summer snack or recipe?

mine is simular to yours.I use crystal light lemonade, ice cubes and cut up some strawberries and blend it in my mixed drink machine and make a strawberry lemonade it kind of makes a slushy like drink.I love the strawberry lemondade from sonic and its a good 300 calories for just a small so i tried my own version..It tastes pretty good and I just eat on it really slow til it melts then i drink it..Another  recipe is use fresh Jalepenos, cut them in half devein and take out the seeds stuff with fat free cream cheese and wrap with one half piece of turkey bacon and bake about 20 minutes. They are delicious ofcoarse most of us sleevers can only eat about 2 so that is perfect..If i believe the last time i made them i added them being 40 calories a popper..Ill have to recheck and make sure..But i could go allday with reciped because i love to cook..

What a great idea. That strawberry lemonade and cream cheese poppers sound wonderful. Don't forget your acid blockers:0)

I make high protein ice cream via eggface. I've adapted them for my taste and use Hood's low carb milk. I eat 2 a day (1/2) for a total of 30 g protein. I have the ice shaver but would only use sf syrups. Plan on trying it with the Torani's sf syrup. Some of them are pretty good!

To make soft servy stuff, I just use my protein shake and then grind up ice cubes made of double strength flavored tea or diet cream soda!  Yumz!

Or, you can freeze the low carb yogurt into pops too!
